The Burt Users Group (BUG) fosters communication and cooperation within the Burt user community.

Through the leadership of the BUG Advisory Panel (BAP), users endeavor to meet once a year to discuss all things Burt.

BUG 2006

BUG 2006 was held May 19 - 22 in Columbus, OH and hosted by The Columbus Dispatch

BUG this year also saw the creation of the "The Apey." The April Gauldin Burt Users Group/BUG Service Award will be presented annually to the individual who makes a significant contribution to the Burt User Community. This year's award was presented to Sandra Whitmoyer of the Denver Newspaper Agency for her behind-the-scenes help with BUG 2006 finances, logistics and planning. Congratulations Sandra!

Keith Vick and the Star-Telegram, Fort Worth, TX, have volunteered to host BUG 2007.
