Rich Burt
CEO

Rich serves as CEO and chief software architect.  As such, he is responsible for developing new technologies and maintaining the software in peak form.  He has a unique ability to implement new features and changes to suit your needs without compromising functionality.

 

Jim Burt
President

Company founder and president, Jim performs training and on-site implementation assistance, assists in software development and also helps with support. He has been personally involved in the implementation of over forty-five of our existing users and looks forward to helping many more successfully deploy our products.

 

Marc Leek
Account Manager

Marc brings with him over 30 years of account management and sales experience.  Previously, Marc worked in sales at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and was Preprint Manager in Advertising his last three years. In his time with Burt, he has helped many new sites make the transition to Burt.

 

Colleen Bynum
Operations Manager

With her years of experience in the newspaper industry (circulation, single copy, packaging), Colleen serves as operations manager, and is responsible for the operations of the company.

 

Shane Douglas
Senior Developer

With a unique blend of experience including both packaging and IT, Shane serves as the senior developer.

 

Billy Calva
Response Center Manager

Billy brings a wide array of packaging, distribution, and management skills to the Burt Response Center. His diverse talents help our team daily in their efforts to provide superior customer support.

 

Patrick O'Dell
Application Support Rep

A lead member of the San Francisco Chronicle's BURT deployment team, Patrick was instrumental in the success of both PackagingManager & LineManger.

 

Rick Larson
Application Support Rep

Rick was instrumental in the deployment of BURT at the Denver Post in 1994 and was the primary BURT user after the JOA with The Rocky Mountain News.  Rick knows BURT.

 

Chris Jurgena
Lead Trainer & Aplication Support Rep

With his vast production experience, Chris brings with him significant packaging, production management & teaching skills.  He was a key member of the deployment of LineManager at The Post-Dispatch.

 

Mickey Waleski
Administraton Manager

Mickey brings with her experience managing the circulation department's inbound call center at The Denver Post. She also worked as the financial and statistical reporting manager and most recently as the subscriber accounts manager.

3. We do not provide non-emergent after-hours support.

For 2011, we will be observing holiday routine on the following dates. On these dates, please follow after-hours support protocol.
