The San Antonio (TX) Express-News has recently licensed the BURT System to manage Packaging & Distribution activities. The Express-News will deploy the BURT System, along with technologies from other mailroom vendors, during a project planned for the second quarter of 2010.

Burt Technologies of Evergreen, CO will facilitate the manufacture of The Express-News as well as The Laredo Morning Times and associated publications. The Express-News will license a suite of BURT System modules that includes Packaging Manager, Line Manager and Staffing Manager. For Burt Technologies, the San Antonio Express-News is the third Hearst Corporation daily newspaper to join its User Community.
